About Akumaye
Akumayê is a multi-artistic research project investigating the realms of somatic healing, ancestral knowledge and expansion of consciousness through artistic and spiritual expression.
Our ways of existing
For the expression of our being through the arts. To create spaces of healing, self-knowledge and empowerment. To give life to a new eco-somatic and trauma-sensitive culture. To find out, through somatic and spiritual experience, who we really are. For creative and healing meeting spaces. To honor and thank with joy, love and lightness the life we are.
Movement
Movement is life. Conscious moving has the power to keep us in tune with our inner being and the universe. Akumayé offers a wide range of body centered activities with different focuses: healing, embodiment, play, performance, ritual, fight, celebration, contact, relation, self-awareness.
Sound
Sound creates matter. The vibration of sound is what everything is made of. By making sound, we can express our inner truth and communicate ourselves to the universe.
Akumayé holds spaces to explore and connect to the world of sound in diverse ways: music classes, sound laboratories, performances, sound healing and records
Healing
Our therapeutic work is based on the belief in the self-regulation potential of each individual. With over a decade of experience in somatic therapies, my approach incorporates influences such as Zen Shiatsu, Thai Yoga Massage, Somatic Psychology, Shamanic Paths and more. Healing the body, mind and spirit
Projects, Experiences and Services
Projects that manifest the art of living, Experiences that invite you to experience transformation, and Services that bring holistic therapies for your well-being and self-knowledge. Explore ways to enrich your inner growth journey.
